Back into Lockdown

I’m sure many of us saw the press conference held by Daniel Andrews a short time ago and it was almost expected that there would be some form of lockdown reintroduced.

A Melbourne wide lockdown has been introduced that returns us to Stage 3 restrictions and it will be in place from midnight tomorrow night (Wednesday 8th July) for six weeks.

The good news is that golf is still able to continue during this time, with the same restrictions that we have had in place before and since the last closure period.

The bad news is that even though we have just reopened our clubrooms and had a fantastic lunch a couple of weeks ago and the bar open the last couple of weeks, we once again have to close them off to any use. This again means that all drink purchases must be done through the Pro Shop and not through the indoor bar.

Also as a word of warning, golf is now once again one of the few things that people are able to do to leave the house which means we’re likely to see yet another uptick in participation on the course and it was definitely a packed course the last time we were at this stage.
Please be sure to give myself, Ange or Ken a call in the Pro Shop to make a booking and/or see what is available whenever you’re planning to come out and then we can be sure to get you in for a round with no risk of turning up and having to wait etc.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding, any questions or concerns feel free to get in touch!
